Literally every class is able to play a dps role. In terms of what's beginner-friendly, guardian, warrior and necromancer are all fairly tanky options that are straightforward to learn and, if you have the expansions, their HoT elite specs (dragonhunter, berserker and reaper respectively) are all considered to be good options as dps specs. You might just wanna keep playing the story and you'll get to know her better. 27. carnespecter. ash trash. • 5 mo. ago. renegade is the elite spec built especially and perfectly thematically for charr. 8. dartungar • 5 mo. ago. My Guard is a charr and I have to say it fits quite nicely. Can always layer on some condi damage to increase bleeds and torment, but you can do plenty of consistent damage off of power short bow, especially if using Shiro stance. Renegade is the one you can get the most use of in terms of different builds, but it's probably a bit harder than the other two to play. Maybe I am playing them wrong but its the class I struggled with the most since coming back. And this is from someone who mained a thief throughout beta and the first 1.5 yrs when I played way back when (hundreds of hrs on thief). I would say out of HoT and PoF, the spec that surprised me the most might be Firebrand.

The three new elite specs will be playable in an open beta test from Oct. 26 to 30. The final batch of specializations are for all three of the medium-armor classes. "End Of Dragons" is scheduled

I just have to start putting points in the other elite specialization. Yes, the only limitation is that you can't have them both equiped at the
GS Mirage: spamming dodge to proc split surge melts mobs fast, easiest build to play for open world. Zerker gear with stamina sigil and scholar runes. You could also use two GS with stamina and energy sigils spamming weapon swap for almost infinite endurance. 2. Shaman_Infinitus.
Example 2 - deadeye you are able to use a sniper rifle. Again its a choice, the abilities with deadeye are like marking targets for extra crit as a rogue in wow. All classes eventually will unlock 3 simultaneous skill trees to use. You may also use 2 sets of weapons to swap from, each having their own abilities and combos.
D tier: class is dangerous to the player- death is more likely then success. F tier: the class is awful, out classed by every other class- class needs a rework. S tier: Ranger: large kit of damage, pets, strong healing, not totally squishy. Revenant: Same thing as ranger: you can do all roles, its also flashy. A tier:

I think if classes had their own unique story instances with different chapters on different subjects of the class's lore (such as heroes of the past, or origin of the class, groups that the class was associated with, origin of the Elite spec and the founder, etc) can be told with players becoming whatever lore figure that is being presented in

Elementalist is the class that i played the most but today, i cannot find any reason to keep playing my elem. I have the feeling that Arena just destroyed the class, the new elite specs is useless, it's possible to have one of the strongest dps but you need to spend weeks on golem for masteries this. .
