#1 Hi folks Thinking of changing my 2004 Stilo Active 1.4 16v for a Grand Punto. For me one of the best things about the Stilo is the engine, which is fantastically revvy and to my mind delivers fantastic performance for the capacity (as well as really good fuel economy and a low insurance group).

Feb 9, 2009. #1. Can owners of Mk2 1.4 16v Grande Punto GP's please tell me if they experience much in the way of engine rattle, ( similar to tappet sound ), while engine is on tickover. I know about initial hydraulic tappet sound when engines cold, but I get a constant rattle at all times even after a long run.
