ive been away for awhile and was wondering what is the best for PVE/PVP survival wise not so much DPS. Easy : cleric scourge with axe/torch + staff ; Blood Magic, Death Magic, Scourge. Slot all minion, use staff 2 and shroud F3 on CD and you'll never die and kill everything, slowly, but still. Renegade condi and Mirage staff/staff condi are Classes don't affect your personal story, only your race and some choices you make during character creation and the choices you make throughout the personal story. In my personal opinion, Sylvari have the best story. It's also more intimately tied to the general overarching story for reasons that, if I told you, would spoil the story.

On champs, there is higher CC and AoEs in open world PvE, and raid builds are typically made to synergize with other group meta raid builds. If you're looking for something relaxed with an easier time in general open world PvE I'd recommend out of the 3 you mentioned in this order: Ranger, Warrior, Thief.

Necromancer, mainly Scourge. Pros: The best survivability due to huge amount of barriers. Easy to play, no skill rotation. You can boost your passive healing by using runes of tormenting. Cons: Slow, no access to boons. 2. Thief (Daredevil or Deadeye, depends on situation). Pros: The best passive heal in game. SoftFootpaws.9134. Members. 5.2k. Posted July 15, 2022 (edited) Staff is really good on pretty much every class but Ele, but Necro staff is only super useful in competitive modes. Probably the most notorious user of staff in PvE is Mirage. Edited July 16, 2022 by Mariyuuna.6508. 1. Thief has very high mobility in general, but not necessarily on d/d. It's probably the only class that can fully utilize d/d build and it's somewhat good in end game pve, but there's also much better choices so it's not very popular build. Most of pvp/wvw builds use only one dagger, main or off hand, depending on build. 3. Elonian armor (medium) Elonian armor for the desert chic. For the enterprising Thief, this armor shows off an interesting sense of style that speaks to a bit of desert chic. As with most armor in GW2, this is a set of pieces, but the one that is most attention-grabbing is the headpiece, or mask. For fracs Druid is fine as long as people follow mechanics, but its not (best) healer in fracs. Best raw is tempest. But the safest way in fracs is harrier firebrand + renegade. But still they are not that strong in healing. As much as I would say scourge would be after tempest, but scourge only supply’s barriers. What I mean by engaging and snappy gameplay from start to finish is a class that has a lot of variety in combat, something with quick attacks, that can be creative with the gameplay, but also packs a good punch, and generally stays that way throughout all elite specs (at least 2 of 3) so I can best enjoy all expansion content in one go.

Then use the Choya tonic. If mobility is your only wish, soulbeast with a bird/gazelle combo and greatsword/sword+warhorn is one of the most mobile ones. Perma swiftness, access to a bit of quickness and superspeed, and 4 leaps (5 if you learn to effectively use sword 3 as well) on very short cooldowns.
